Lecia M Lenses are the reason I got back into photography 15 years ago. The Glass is the most important aspect of my photography equipment. By Glass of course I mean the lens. This is my compendium of Leica lenses that I either own or have extensive background using. It is not meant to be the encyclopedia of every detail of each lens, but rather my experiences, my technical discoveries and my research. There are some great Leica encyclopedias on the internet and in print. For example, Erwin Puts (Facebook) has several volumes on Leica equipment and the history of this great Company; there is also a Leica Wiki maintained by the Leica Camera Forum, where MTF graphs along with serial numbers are recorded and many other pieces of Leica folklore are housed. Any of these type of sources can provide you the myriad of detail I may be lacking.
